The truth is: The biggest stumbling block to the Law of Attraction is that we are not allowing ourselves to receive the very things we are requesting. The cure is to connect with God so that we can be made whole and be guided in cocreating the life we want. When God is part of the equation, the success of attracting and receiving what you really want, and becoming who you want to be, expands exponentially.
The Law of Attraction is always working, whether you choose to use it or not. You are manifesting what happens in your life, both good and bad. What many of us forget when we start consciously using the Law of Attraction is that we don't have to do it on our own. After the initial rush of pulling in what we want, many of us soberly realize what being responsible for our lives really means.
We start to understand that we are creating the pain in our lives, yet try as we might, we cannot live a life without pain. Some pain is required in order to learn and grow. We all need some friction, some sand in our oyster shell, to grow a pearl. To fully know joy, we need to experience sadness.
We cannot know something unless we know its opposite. This is another law of the universe: the Law of Polarity, sometimes called the Law of Opposites.
Still, it can feel lonely when we realize how powerful we are in creating our lives, especially when we continue to create hardship. Instead of feeling empowered when a crisis hits because we know that we are powerful enough to move through it, we blame ourselves for doing something wrong by creating the crisis.
We struggle with the Law of Attraction when we can't seem to move through negative emotions, like fear, grief, or a sense of unworthiness, which attract further negativity, into positive emotions, which attract positive outcomes. We know intellectually that we need to be more positive, but we seem unable to move there emotionally.
So here is a truth about the Law of Attraction that few people know: Even the Law of Attraction is overridden by Divine intervention.
When you are trapped in fear, doubt, anger, or grief, all you need do is ask for help. You will receive assistance so that you can move into positive energy again; you don't have to do it on your own. I remember sharing this insight around a dinner table with friends, nationally known master manifesters who earn their living working with spiritual concepts.
Each of them has created an amazing life, yet everyone paused, took a deep breath, and sighed with relief. It is easy to get so caught up in the Law of Attraction that we come to believe it is the only law in the Universe. There are other laws—and the greatest law is God's power. Divine intervention takes the pressure off. We do have someone else to help us. When you dissolve your resistance to God, whether conscious or subconscious, and invite Her into your life, you can relax.
You are partnered with a powerful cocreator. All of a sudden, not only can you attract magic into your life, but you can also cocreate miracles. And if you stumble and fall into fear, you always have God to help you recover. When we add God to the equation, along with the Law of Attraction, we are so powerful that all our outcomes are successful, even when they don't seem so initially. By having earnest communion with God, we learn to trust that, even when it seems we have taken a wrong turn, we have simply discovered a new shortcut to our dreams.
God takes us seriously when we ask for what we want. The New Testament says, "Ask and you shall receive. Knock and the door shall be opened for you. Many of us harbor resistance to adding God to the Law of Attraction equation. After all, it may have taken a lifetime to feel powerful enough to learn how to use it. Why do we need to return to an entity that we have been taught makes us feel small and weak? Let me reframe this for you. Have you ever waited patiently for a loved one to arrive?
Although you were unsure about his arrival time, you were content to wait because you knew that soon you would be together. Your heart was filled with joyful anticipation. Perhaps as this person walked into the restaurant, or emerged from the plane, he did not see you. Maybe some time had passed since you last saw one another so he did not recognize you. When you called his name, you were too far away and he could not hear you. Until you were able to connect, both of you felt keenly disappointed because you were so eager to be together.
I am here to tell you that you have a devoted friend waiting patiently for you. Like the friendly stranger who taps you on the shoulder to alert you to your friend's call, I am here to point out your friend to you. Maybe your eyes are not clear enough to see Her. Perhaps She does not look as you expected. Maybe there is too much noise and you are unable to hear Her as She calls your name, even though She is practically jumping up and down to catch your attention.
Excuse me, your God is waiting for you. He has been waiting patiently, yet eagerly, to connect with His old friend. God has been waiting for you to recognize Him. He wants to help you as you create a new, different life. Can you hear God's voice? She is calling to you every day. She is longing to have you open up and embrace Her.

He has been trying to tell you how much He loves you and how magnificent and beautiful you are in His eyes. He wants to be with you as you live a joyful life full of purpose and meaning. You may react with "Who, me? Why would I be worthy of a conversation with God? Or why would I want to talk with God—a God who has let me down or forgotten me? Or One who is angry or vengeful and punishes Her children? Why would I want anything to do with a God whose people kill each other in Her name? In these instances, you are viewing yourself or viewing God with a preconceived image of worthiness. You have projected a lifetime full of images, many imposed by others, onto your image of God.here

Can you set these judgments aside for a moment? Can you sit with an open mind and an open heart, regarding both yourself and your true God? Can you hold a space of love and allow a new perspective to sprout through cracks in the wall that is holding you back from appreciating yourself and your deeper relationship with God? Can you put aside all that you have been taught about God—all projections, fears, judgments, and prejudices? If you can let go of the images you hold about God, you will start a new, beneficial relationship.
And as you do so, you may develop a new appreciation for who you are.
It could be that you already feel like you have a good relationship with God and you don't need to deepen it. Maybe on some level you feel resistant to getting closer, perhaps even some fear of getting too close to the Big Guy.
